Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development Strategy:
  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve growth targets.
  • Identify new market opportunities and emerging trends within the agri-food sector.
  • Conduct market research to understand client needs and competitive landscape.
  1. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
  • Identify and target potential clients in the agriculture and food industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new business deals.
  1. Proposal Development and Management:
  • Lead the preparation of high-quality proposals, bids, and tenders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Ensure timely submission and follow-up on proposals to maximize conversion rates.
  1. Service Delivery Oversight:
  • Work closely with the consulting team to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums.

Qualifications:

  1. Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Food Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the agriculture and food consulting sector.
